Description:

This project is driven by my passion for health, fitness, and well-being. As an active person who loves working out, I faced a turning point when I decided to stop using hormonal birth control and needed a natural way to balance my hormones. Despite my dedication to high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and weightlifting, I needed to see the desired results. This led me to discover cycle syncing, a concept that transformed my understanding of my body and fitness routine. This project aims to provide a resource for women seeking to regulate their hormones, enhance their well-being, and achieve their fitness goals. This project promotes health awareness, supports transformational change, and fosters personal growth.

Align is an app specifically designed for active women in their 20s. Align aims to take the guesswork out of fitness routines by recommending group fitness classes and at-home exercises based on the user's current menstrual phase, utilising world-class classes from Les Mills. This concept is built on a deep understanding of women's health needs and the innovative idea of cycle syncing to enhance fitness goals. The app addresses the gap in resources available for women to track their menstrual phases and understand how these phases impact their workouts. Align's target audience includes women in their 20s with a Les Mills membership who seek a deeper connection with their bodies and a comprehensive solution to their fitness and hormonal health needs.
