MY ACC has been able to remove bureaucracy as a barrier to rehabilitation, by putting users at the heart of the design process and giving them control in a critical engagement with a government agency. The designers have identified and addressed genuine pain-points and succeeded in simplifying a very complex interaction. Supported throughout by effective use of disarming visual content – the solution allows users to self determine and self-serve in an enabling and yet non-intimidating overall experience. Extensive user research and continual validation has resulted in an empowering tool that puts users clearly in control.
