This is a very human experience that empowers kiwis from all walks of life who may never have invested or seen themselves being able to invest before. By simplifying and humanising the investing experience, and lowering the barriers to entry financially – Sharesies have managed to empower a new generation of investors to get going and 'do it themselves'. Crystal clear user insights and a disciplined, laser-like focus on creating a simple and usable product were central to Sharesies design journey – meaning the experience is simple, fast and stress-free for users. They have been successful in empowering a new generation of investors by design and shown the impact that ease of entry and radically simple experience can deliver. $62m has been invested to date by over 50 thousand kiwi investors – a large number of who are under 40’s.
