The challenge: relaunch a legacy brand with a new name and a renewed energy, pride and purpose.
A brand film was commissioned to mark this landmark change and communicate a contemporary reposition. In this approach the aim was reflect the richness, diversity and progression of a people and culture through the lens of the brand's story.
By showing diverse trailblazers and 'storytellers' in a contemporary documentary style and driven by contemporary Māori instrumentation, the film takes us on a trip across Aoteaora to the thriving edge of Māori culture, providing an intimate snapshot of what drives us and what success looks like. Symbolizing a new beginning, it celebrates identity, culture, and empowerment.
