Judge's comments:

The Te Oro Tukutuku based word-mark and visual identity developed in partnership with Ngāti Pāoa, with the endorsement of Ngāti Whatua and Ngāi Tai Ki Tāmaki, demonstrates a highly collaborative approach reflective of a diverse and creative community.

The resultant work demonstrates genuine community endeavour and craftsmanship, fitting the purpose of this new Glen Innes Music and Arts Centre. The co-design approach adopted with designers and a community of weavers working together will hopefully set the tone for the future of this centre.
