Judge's comments:
This project demonstrates design as a way to respond to human need, rather than as an aesthetic pursuit. It isn’t pretty, but it’s gritty; showcasing a highly technical and considered response to raw needs and real circumstances.
This project is far more than about designing ‘things’, it is about designing community and future.
