Description:

Bespoke details capture Bell Gully’s understated elegance.
In collaboration with Bates Smart in Sydney, Ignite were appointed to craft the interior fit-out for Bell Gully’s Wellington office.

Spanning over 1400m2, Bell Gully's workspace in Wellington is spread across two levels of real estate, encompassing client and partner spaces and a dedicated working floor. This allows a fine-tuned balance between focus and hosting areas.

To establish the design brief, there was a thorough stakeholder engagement process with Bell Gully's HR team, partners, and operational staff. This involved collaborative user workshops during the design phase to ensure the space was fully optimised for the workplace needs.

A key consideration was the need to be cohesive with Bell Gully’s subsequent new Auckland HQ at 1 Queen Street. The design process of each city’s workplace was conceptualised at the same time, consistently reflecting the brand and culture of the firm across each one.

The New Zealand landscape was an integral part of the design concept, attained with natural finishes, warm tones, and timeless features, creating a serene workplace that feels more residential than corporate.

Along with a premium experience for their clients, partners and team, Bell Gully needed the assurance of optimised acoustics in their workplace, particularly throughout the meeting rooms. This was achieved with careful consultation from the acoustic engineers, and the use of premium acoustic panels which blend into the workplace seamlessly.

‍The collaboration between two Australasian firms has resulted in a cohesive design, that ultimately affirms Bell Gully’s commitment to professionalism, eye for detail, and exceptional service offering for their clients.
