Description:

James & Wells IP Attorneys' new office at Union Square reimagines what a modern law firm can look and feel like. Moving from a larger, outdated office of closed-off private rooms into a more compact and connected space, the project represents a shift toward innovation, flexibility, and culture.

Central to the design is a multi-purpose front-of-house zone that hosts client events, team training, social functions, and daily hospitality. It’s a vibrant, high-functioning space that brings people together and showcases the firm’s open, client-first approach.

A major innovation in the fitout is the introduction of Work Suites—custom-designed, semi-private, moveable spaces that offer lawyers the comfort and focus of traditional offices within a more collaborative open plan. Supported by jump rooms and acoustically optimised meeting spaces, the layout enables a seamless balance of privacy and connection.

The result is a smart, beautifully crafted workplace that supports team wellbeing, celebrates the James & Wells brand, and signals a clear step forward for legal workplace design.
