The concept fashioned from the brief and site was a courtyard home, open living areas facing the view, simple in form, and subservient to the landscape. The house centres around a sheltered courtyard, and the internal living spaces spill out onto ample covered outdoor living areas facing the ocean. We incorporated a four metre overhang at the front for privacy and sun mitigation.
