Ric's is a relaxed and welcoming restaurant at the Te Arai Links golf course. The brief called for an unassuming “barn” building that would sit harmoniously within the rural landscape. It is intended to be a place you could sit back and spend hours enjoying. The form is reminiscent of a quintessential New Zealand barn/woolshed, with a gable roof and verandah, creating a 6 metre eave that bleads out smoothly into the "playground"
