After completing their family home several years ago, our clients wanted to complete their vision for the interiors of the residence, to better reflect their personalities and fit the needs of their family that had evolved since the original build.
As a mostly decorative intervention, we rationalised the palette and added personalised character and texture to compliment the formal Sumich Chaplin architecture. Furniture placement and form was meticulously curated to encourage the spaces to better perform their function and encourage interaction.
Drawing from their existing favourite art and furniture pieces, we selected two core tones of a smokey deep green and burnt ochre. We used these colours to anchor each space, and utilised bold contrasts and highlights to better articulated our clients social and playful characters.
