The primary objective of this project was to design and integrate a new kitchen area with the adjoining living space for a recognized NZ artist. It was decided that the design expression would be deeply intertwined with the owner’s artistic expression, merging functionality with artistic flair. By utilizing audacious colourways and experimenting with different tones, we aim to create a dynamic and visually stimulating environment with the collaboration of the artist. This approach not only serves to elevate the kitchen into a lively and engaging space but also directly reflects the artists vibrant artistic sensibilities. This project exemplifies how to use colour with no limits to elevate a space and shape a specific atmosphere. It offers endless possibilities, colour plays with light, textures, and finishes and above all, awakens anyone’s imagination and creativity.
