The concept for Spice Riot ignited from a single, audacious spark, a bold artwork titled In Your Face. Bursting with energy and attitude, it perfectly captured the spirit of the kitchen’s intended personality: colourful, confident, and unapologetically fun. It quickly became the design’s cornerstone, setting a rebellious, whimsical tone that rippled through every detail of the space.

I’ve always believed design should evoke emotion, and this project was about infusing the heart of the home with joy, surprise, and a playful sense of mischief. With a fearless palette of primary colours and a bold embrace of expressive finishes, I crafted a visual language that’s both daring and deliberately harmonious. This wasn’t about playing it safe , it was about unleashing a carefully choreographed riot of creativity.

The result? A kitchen that lives up to its name — a Spice Riot fizzing with personality, layered colour, and unexpected balance. Bold without being brash, playful yet cohesive, this is a space designed not just to function, but to be felt.
