Judge's comments:

Voting in local elections might not be the highlight of our year, but it’s incredibly important. Vote Local is so much more than a way to find out what candidates stand for. It’s a way to find out what you stand for, and what your ideal city would be like, provoking thought and prompting engaging conversations. The judges were impressed with the reach of Vote Local, its approach to declining voter participation and its larger aim to ignite a passion for democracy in young people through user-centred design.
