Description:

We are in an age where our effect on the environment and the importance of sustainability are becoming increasingly apparent. The bathroom is responsible for more than 70% of an individual’s daily water usage, adding to approximately 154L. A toilet can use up to 6 litres per flush. A typical faucet uses up to 10L per minute, meaning leaving the tap on while brushing your teeth can use as much as 24L. The sustainability collection aims to promote better habits and more sustainable
practices in the bathroom.

‘Slant’ is a compost toilet with a much-needed user interaction update. Its goal is to be unobtrusive and make the compost toilet experience more gracious. In short, a guest should be able to use it without even knowing it is a compost toilet.

‘Taper’ is a sleek tap-ware collection inspired by traditional carpentry and smithing techniques such as nails and wedge pins. The faucet, its centrepiece, aims to significantly reduce wasted water by promoting better user habits through alternative interaction methods.
