Description:

Nestle is a bespoke piece of furniture designed for my client’s specific needs and wants – a window seat that can be lounged on, and also used as extra seating at the dining table or wherever else it is needed. It was also required to fit in a certain space in their home, both physically and aesthetically.
The self-contained sheetmetal stools provide extra seating when required and a pop of colour when stored away. The bevelled edge on the wooden frame guides the stools into place and the hidden lip at the back allows them to align every time.
The back-rest is removable and fits on either end of the chaise for versatility.
Although this product was designed to a specific client’s specifications, the end result is well suited to a much larger audience.
Nestle is light and airy, warm and inviting – a mid-century modern-inspired chaise longue.
