Description:

The 2050 Treker was developed to boost our brand's presence in the Pacific Northwest USA and Canada, targeting the competitive 20ft open-topped outboard trailer boat market. Extensive research identified an opportunity to create a new model to expand our reach into mainstream North American markets. Our goal was to stand out as an innovative market leader, addressing the shortcomings of competitors’ offerings and appealing to consumers with a fresh, balanced design that combines familiarity and innovation.

Despite competing in the largest market sector, competitors often prioritize ease of manufacture over user requirements, leading to uniform designs that lack diversity. The 2050 Treker challenges this by prioritizing aesthetics and an end user focus. We aimed to create a product that stands out, offering a new perspective where end-user needs are paramount.

The 2050 Treker is versatile, performing well in various use cases without compromising its individual strengths. It offers flexible configuration options to suit individual needs, with ergonomics allowing for both sitting and standing at the helm and a spacious 6’5” high canvas. Its ocean-going hull enhances on-water performance, supporting our brand promise: "Adventure with Confidence." The bold aesthetics and thoughtful use of materials highlight the boat's innovative design.

The 2050 Treker is designed for comfort and usability in various environments. It’s perfect for adventures with friends and family, whether fishing, exploring, commuting, or enjoying water sports. Capable in diverse weather conditions, it features a cabin that seats six with ample space for movement, and a utility-focused bow deck. Positive buoyancy and US Coastguard safety compliance ensure utmost safety, so end users can Adventure with Confidence.

The 2050 Treker blends familiarity with exploration beyond conventional designs. By introducing new customers to our brand, we aim to secure market share and on-going brand loyalty through creating positive product experiences. The design is purposeful, with every aesthetic element serving a function while avoiding the compromises seen in competitors' products.

Technically, the 2050 Treker excels with superior fit, finish, and modern materials that will raise industry and consumer expectations. Its performance is unmatched having been conceived in challenging marine conditions and featuring innovative elements like extensive use of powder-coating, angular ceramic-banded glazing, and an efficiently stowing canvas frame. These enhancements ensure a high-quality and aesthetically pleasing product.

The 2050 Treker plays a crucial role in increasing our North American market share and has quickly become a top-selling model since its release in January 2024. Its appeal extends beyond the target market, also attracting customers in New Zealand and Australia.
Celebrating the joys of boating, the 2050 Treker enhances life experiences by providing a safe, reliable, and versatile adventure platform, allowing users to Adventure with Confidence.
