Buddy is New Zealand’s first tapware collection with a matching range of accessories all available in 12 unique finishes. Before Buddy, most tapware on the market was either chrome plated or matt black.

In 2015, after identifying an emerging trend for colour in interiors, we began working with our Italian manufacturer to develop Buddy. Over a period of 18 months, Buddy went from concept, to prototype and finally production and quickly became an enormous success, satisfying latent demand from architects, designers, and their clients for minimalist tapware in a wide range of finishes.

The vision for Buddy was a full collection of tapware and accessories combining beautiful proportions, excellent functionality, and high-quality materials. Every detail had to be carefully considered.

Buddy’s timeless and minimalist styling suits a wide range of interiors but the 12 finish options has really differentiated Buddy from the outset. The colour range includes organic finishes which patina over time, advanced technology PVD finishes, matt varnished finishes, and classic plated finishes.

Buddy continues to evolve, with new items and colours being added regularly. In 2021, the collection was expanded to include Buddy X, which features a knurled handle, anticipating the emerging trend for texture in interior design.
