Description:

"‘Hans & Tweet’ is an action-comedy stop motion animated short for 7-9 year olds. Age is only a number here however, as the rich and tactile story-world can tap into all our inner kiddie-selves. The short run-time is ideal for the small attention spans of children. Short and sweet, like Hans & Tweet. With educational themes focusing around environmental pollution, endangered animals, and the power to see a brighter tomorrow, this stop-motion film is for kids who can’t stop.

The story itself follows an eccentric, evil red panda named Hans who lives in the city junkyard. His dream is to become the best supervillain in town! With a trusty sidekick named Tweet, (an egg with legs), the pair put their latest invention; a ‘toaster gun’, to the test - by attempting to fire down the big mayor statue. Things don’t go as planned however…

Stop motion animation has been a really valuable medium for us, because it’s tactile nature gets into the audience’s deepest sense of imagination. This lightens our delivery of the otherwise heavy themes. Hopefully with a bit of help from Hans & Tweet, you can spot the treasure in the junk.
