The script required extreme close-ups of CGI bees and a filmic ’time-lapse’ effect as the bees construct a honeycomb hive, which forms into the shape of the product packaging. Timing the reveal was critical. Throughout, the spot had to maintain its plausible recreation of reality using established film language. Apart from being a unique way of seamlessly integrating the pack-shot into the spot, it also conveyed, in a purely visual way, the brand and product positioning as being made by nature.
