Description:

GR is the acronym applied to the many sports performance models of Toyota production cars available to New Zealanders. Cars like the GR Corolla, GR Yaris, GR 86 and GR Supra. However, it is not well understood beyond motor racing fraternity that GR is an abbreviation of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the name of Toyota’s racing team covering four different types of motorsport. The brief was to build racing credentials into the term GR.

The answer was right in front of our grill. We turned GR into GRRRRRR (something that surprisingly hadn’t been done before). With this simple idea, we created animated graphic films capturing the visceral thrill and excitement of motorsport literally connecting GR with TOYOTA GAZZO Racing in a brilliantly powerful way.
