This book explores an area of interest I have in typography, particularly in Aotearoa, New Zealand. To explore it all would be years of work, so what you are seeing is a snapshot of the typography scene through the lens of Kiwi designers and typographers. Highlighting contributions from both Māori and Pākehā, it reveals the stories and ideas behind type design from the typographers themselves, and the experience of kiwi designers who engage with typography day to day. My goal with this project is to collect all these perspectives and display them in a way that provides insight on the typographic landscape in our country.
