Description:

Landscaping is an industry overgrown with ‘before and afters’. To stand out we created a unique ‘once upon a time’.

Your protagonists for this story? The rag-tag Scapegoats Landscaping crew. Blessed with an eye for design and an unparalleled ability to transform the natural world.

Working with an existing name inspired by the steep Wellington landscapes they tame, we knew the brand needed to be steeped in legend.

All the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) ‘once upon a time’ stories transport the reader from the ordinary to the supernatural. With Scapegoats’ desire to use sustainable, super natural materials, it felt like the stars were aligning.

From soil and seed, to tiles and timber, Scapegoats craft their creations. This handmade craftsmanship inspired our team to work with a woodcut artist to create four illustrative realms. A mystical and magical toolkit was born, laying the groundwork for years to come.

Not all ‘once upon a time’ stories have a happy ending. Thankfully, this one does. In fact, the client was over the moon and the brand had been taken to a new dimension.
