Description:

Opportunity:

Carbon markets are set to scale rapidly but trust in the system is low, and very little of the money currently reaches the communities most impacted by climate change. Cavex, a climate-tech startup, saw an opportunity to change that by building a digital platform that connects climate-conscious companies directly with carbon projects in the Global South.

They needed a bold, clear and credible brand to launch this idea into the world, one that could build trust, communicate impact, and grow with them as they scaled. The challenge was to cut through a crowded and often confusing market with something that felt both technically robust and emotionally resonant.

Approach:

We partnered with Cavex to shape a brand strategy, visual identity and website that could do just that. Our starting point: transparency. Cavex’s platform brings clarity and accountability to a space often lacking both, so we positioned them as a trusted partner in climate action, where technology meets integrity, and finance flows fairly.

Visually, we played with the tension between nature and tech, combining structured data-led design with warm, human imagery. The brand system is clean and modern, while still feeling grounded and accessible. On the website, we put data front and centre, using visualisations and storytelling to showcase real-world impact in a way that feels alive and engaging.

The tone throughout is clear, purposeful and free of greenwash or jargon. This isn’t about vague climate promises, it’s about measurable outcomes and shifting power to where it’s needed most.

Outcomes:

The Cavex brand launched to strong early traction. Engagement on the site doubled within three months, and the platform is now being used to open doors with corporates, NGOs and funders alike. The brand has been recognised for its clarity and credibility, helping Cavex position themselves as a serious player in the next wave of climate finance innovation.

Internally, the strategy has helped align the team and sharpen the narrative. Externally, it’s already supporting new partnerships and real-world impact.

Most importantly, it’s helping Cavex tell a bigger story: one about rebalancing the carbon markets to work for people and planet. A story of transparency, trust, and practical transformation. And one that’s only just getting started.
