Description:

Bowey is a distinctive residential development in Bondi, designed by world‑leading architects Woods Bagot. The project features 16 iconic apartments – including four luxurious penthouses – that effortlessly blend the charm of a heritage building with the sophistication of contemporary design.

While Bondi is widely regarded as one of Sydney’s most sought-after suburbs, Bowey has some unique challenges to overcome. Its location on Bondi Road came with pre‑conceived ideas about the area as a transient, tourist‑centric, traffic‑heavy space, when in reality it’s a vital, connected part of the local fabric.

This is why Bowey needed a brand that would do more than introduce its beautifully-crafted design. It needed to capture the true energy of this place. The vibrancy, the connection, and the moments of tranquility that define the real Bondi. Where the glow of morning stretches into sun‑kissed days and long, lively nights. Where ideas and innovation flow freely, framed by moments of peace and quiet.

Bowey stands proudly amid this pulse, inviting people to live boundlessly. Its character‑filled, heritage roots inspired a brand that captures the ideal intersection of Bondi Road and Bondi Beach – a brand that embraces contrast and connection, abundant natural light and authentic stories. It’s an identity built to express the seamless design of Bowey itself and the rich character of the Bondi it calls home.

The design draws on the soul and heritage of both the area and the building. Bowey’s handcrafted logotype and ‘B’ monogram reflect the connection between Bondi Road and the heritage architecture, capturing the organic bends and curves of the structure. The photographic direction frames the true character of Bondi – from Uncut Seafood and Elva’s Italian to Peaches Pilates and the iconic Icebergs pool – in rich, golden tones. Fresh perspectives on people and place are brought to life in vivid video vignettes, capturing moments of quiet reflection, communal energy and everyday beauty.

Juxtaposition plays a vital role in the identity, capturing the grit and urban charm of Bondi Road alongside the serene, laid‑back lifestyle of its beaches. Overlayed with the Bowey brandmark, this approach tells the story of a life that’s truly boundless.

Bowey marks another milestone in the revitalisation of the Bondi Road precinct. It is a brand and a development that connect heritage with future, space with place, and tranquility with vibrancy – shaping the area’s ongoing evolution and inviting residents to make it their own.
