Make is a bespoke furniture and interiors studio based in Sydney. They work with leading architects to create flawless cabinetry and furniture pieces for exceptional residences.

We were engaged to redevelop the banding for this practice. As part of the exercise, we developed a logo and a range of applications, including packaging, website, stationery, signage and vehicle livery.

The identity needed to resonate with an architectural audience and reflect the craftsmanship, simplicity and attention to detail that the team at Make apply to every commission.

We developed a simple M monogram that depicts a dovetail joint, a ubiquitous part of the furniture maker's craft. The logo can be elegantly applied to a number of applications, including digital material, uniforms, packaging, signage and is even used as a maker's mark and branded into pieces of furniture.

Martyn also makes professional snooker cues, under his own name Everitt. By rotating the M an E monogram was created for that business.
