SoulMate is a premium baked pet food brand using sustainable ingredients from Aotearoa to provide the world’s best high-meat content nutrition for furry family members. We created their new packaging, designed to stand out in a category that favours function over style.

SoulMate’s packaging is more than just a container; it's a celebration of the bond between pets and their owners. With a distinctive tone of voice and unconventional naming conventions, Soulmate reminds pet owners that having a bit of fun isn’t limited to humans.

Colour plays a crucial role in differentiating between product lines and flavours. For dog food, shades of blue and green evoke a sense of freshness. Meanwhile, cat food turns up the warmth with orange and pink tones, reflecting the playful and vibrant palettes seen in seasonal fashion collections.

Each flavour within the range is accentuated with distinct accent colours, providing a quick visual cue for consumers.

Typography on the packaging is bold and clean, ensuring that key information is as readable as it is stylish – paired with playful illustrations to add a layer of joy to the design.
