We needed to help UHO (Ultra Hydrating Oil) stand out as a unique alternative to the de-facto category incumbent, so we began by leveraging what was already in the name.

It’s all about ‘U’. Telling a more personal, nurturing, liberating and empowering story of the importance of you being uniquely you. Celebrating how you have nothing to hide (and neither do we). Encouraging women to nourish and embrace the skin they’re in, embracing their individuality and the spirit of beauty that radiates from within.

We created a feeling of balance (not compromise) between the fact that this product contains the best of New Zealand nature (traditional native healing ingredients such as mānuka, kawakawa and kiwi seed oil), formulated with scientific precision, experience and expertise - and is clinically proven. Sophisticated, effective, natural and personal.

Our wordmark features gentle curves, sharpened edges and everything in between, inspired by the shapes and movement of the female form and highlighting the uniqueness of every ‘you.’ This is supported by a beautiful, feminine typeface that allows us to talk to our products in an emotive and nurturing way, and a hardworking secondary typeface that delivers detail with precision and performance.

This is free from judgement and nasty chemicals, so we took a refreshing and transparent approach to the bottle design. Exterior packaging puts the uniqueness of ‘U’ front and centre with elegant simplicity, while structural cues from a periodic table add a sense of clinical elegance. Clean, pure and powerful.

The brand owns a light, bright green, supported by cooler tones which as a set, create real stand out on shelf and highlight our fresh take on natural skincare. Warmth is added through a human, curated photographic treatment. And simple, elevated and elegant messaging features throughout the brand experience on and off pack.
