Ossa Wines

Description:
OSSA Wines was created to capture the raw beauty and quiet power of Tasmania’s East Coast through a premium, site-driven wine offering. Founders Rod and Cecile Roberts were motivated by a deep respect for the land — aiming to restore native ecosystems, work regeneratively, and produce wines that express place with precision. The goal was to establish OSSA as a contemporary Tasmanian icon — a brand grounded in craftsmanship, environmental stewardship, and elevated storytelling, appealing to discerning wine audiences globally.
The brand takes its cue from Mount Ossa — strong, sculptural, and timeless. At its heart, OSSA is a refined tribute to the landscape: elemental and elegant. Visually and strategically, the identity avoids wine clichés in favour of quiet confidence — a clean, modern expression of nature’s strength. It’s an articulation of authenticity and care, from soil to bottle.
The design is intentionally pared back and premium — a visual metaphor for the purity and elegance of the wines. Typography evokes the dolerite spires of Mount Ossa: upright, sculptural, and grounded. Luxury print finishes — embossing, floating foil, and textured paper — heighten the tactile experience and mirror the rugged, natural beauty of the landscape. Every detail reflects restraint, craftsmanship, and reverence for place.
OSSA is more than wine — it’s a regenerative, place-driven venture supporting biodiversity, cultural identity, and regional excellence. The brand captures a unique environmental story with clarity and care, elevating Tasmania’s voice in the new world wine.
