For the past 20 years, Keraplast has manufactured branded ingredients for distribution amongst the world's leading health, nutrition and personal care companies. Their innovative technology and extensive research have led them to become the world's leading innovator of keratin protein technology.

Keraplast are ambitious to disrupt and make a real difference in people's lives; they care about people and wish to support and empower everyone to live well. This led us to outline a mission to create life-changing ingredients for life-changing products.

Keraplast's existing brand was drenched in science and failed to truly highlight the company's groundbreaking work and capture the unique culture the company has built over the past few years.

We undertook a complete rebrand with Keraplast, including assessing and rewriting the company's purpose, mission and vision. As a result, we uncovered what is important to Kerplast and how to present the brand to the world.

Keraplast is close to their product, which keeps them close to their land. So we needed to create a brand that resonates with New Zealand and science while capturing a culture rarely seen in a manufacturing company.

The brand is rugged yet refined — similar to how Kerpast operates — taking raw materials from the lands of New Zealand and using cutting-edge technology to produce high-performing alternate proteins.

Textures are created by capturing the beauty of nature in a micro-scientific way and act as a backdrop to more open and cinematic images of New Zealand. Colour is drawn directly from natural ingredients and raw wool forms, creating a visual that walks a thin line between nature and science.
