Alpine Buildings
Description:
Alpine Buildings are a family-owned business based in Timaru, who have been supplying Aotearoa with a much-needed product for the last 30 years; the humble shed. But there are sheds, and then there’s Alpine.
Although our client started out making letterboxes in the nineties, they quickly grew to a full-scale operation, supplying the country’s first ‘truly’ kitset sheds. Today they offer kitset sheds that range from agricultural storage to customisable luxury hobby workshops. And with innovation and constant improvement central to their ethos, they recently approached us to help them better tell their story.
When we met Alpine, they were seeking a voice that would acknowledge their rich heritage, while carrying them into the future. Essentially, Alpine already had the product and the service, but the brand identity needed to catch up to their premium positioning. We learnt through our immersion process that Alpine were already seen as market leaders in this space; both for quality of product and materials, and impeccable service. Our task was to build Alpine a foundational brand strategy, and to leverage this to create a strong visual identity that would stand the test of time. The why for Alpine? To create buildings that endure, and legacies to be proud of. While their competitors were fighting it out in the long list of features and benefits, for Alpine, it was about elevating out of the factual weeds and having the confidence to leave these details as a secondary component.
So what do you get when you mix humble South Island shed-makers with a mindset that celebrates quality, craftsmanship, and endurance?
A blend of the rugged and the refined.
