Description:

MCi Carbon is an Australian clean-tech company transforming CO₂ into building materials using world-leading mineral carbonation. With ambitions to scale decarbonisation internationally in hard-to-abate sectors, MCi partnered with the cause-led, female-founded studio, Considered by Design.

The rebrand positions MCi as a global climate leader, driving credibility, investor engagement, and societal impact. A core horizon motif symbolises transformation and progress, central to storytelling across all mediums. The modular brand system features accessible typography and a dynamic dual-frame layout. Myrtle, the flagship demonstration plant, received a distinct sub-brand identity, enabling seamless storytelling across corporate and operational communications.
Since the rebrand, MCi has secured significant funding and partnerships, including with Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation and RHI Magnesita. The brand has elevated MCi’s visibility at global events like Davos and the UN Global Compact. The Myrtle plant showcases scalable CO₂ transformation, and the brand's digital-first approach aligns with environmental considerations, as seen at the Global Nature Positive Summit.
MCi Carbon's rebrand demonstrates how strategic design can drive environmental, societal, and economic impact on a global stage.
