In a time when audiences subscribe to, manage and pay for several streaming services, Hubbl makes streaming easy. It fuses the world’s biggest apps into one single, simple UI.
To do this, Hubbl works behind the scenes, providing a sophisticated (but invisible) entertainment infrastructure. The challenge for us was that word – invisible. Where most entertainment brands lead with beautiful content imagery, Hubbl's different. A pure aggregator, it has no content. So we needed another way in.
Our idea was 'Modern Magic'. It’s easy to miss the magic behind-the-scenes. The algorithms fueling recommendations. The tech pulling apps together. The infrastructure that’s vital, but invisible. This design system helps people see it. United app tiles – derived from the UI itself – form a flexible, endless grid, keeping third party app logos front-and-centre. But look a little closer between those apps to find the magic that pulls it all together.
