Glenn's philosophy is all about the relationship of his built environments and the landscape that it stands so materiality needs to reflect that, and the topic of the unbuilt.
The design features a grid that confidently structure text, sketches and photographs to create an engaging storytelling. Functional typography works with a grid system that allows organic rags, a nod to Glenn's design philosophy: To respond to the natural. Visualising 'Unbuilt', blind deboss of a sketch is utilised on the cover, emphasising that something is yet to materialise, reacting when hit with light. Materials include coated stock for a futuristic feel mixed with uncoated exterior to ground the whole package. A Swiss-binding is utilised to ensure the book lays flat and doesn't interrupt architectural drawings and renders. The package is all white, a nod to purity: of untainted process and result.
