Simon Lewis Wards is an established New Zealand glass artist, and sculptor. His works are well known for representing Aotearoa New Zealand candy nostalgia, along with fine art pieces that include Twisted Glass, and the Bubble Wrap Glass series. Simon wanted to communicate that his artwork was for all and that it looked stunning in any home, commercial space, or interior-designed environment.

Going against the expected approach of displaying art in stark and neutral settings, the solution was to create a series of wonderful sets that connect the art to different interior moods and spaces. Through deeply considered art direction, set design, construction, and finishing, these worlds helped showcase the ability of Simon’s art to enhance any environment. Using a variety of materials and lighting techniques helped to create a unique suite of eclectic and immersive imagery. The work is used heavily on the new e-commerce website for storytelling, and across their strong social media presence, exhibition promotions, and packaging.

The new brand imagery has connected with Simon's community of retailers, giving them rich assets to help promote the art. The photography has energised the e-commerce website, connecting with consumers from all over the world. The site has had 200% growth since this work was realised in 2023, and 2024.
