Description:
Tobler is a multi-layered typeface commissioned by Bulletproof London for the Swiss chocolate brand Toblerone. The brief required a working typeface to align with a recently refreshed wordmark, for use in various scenarios including packaging and digital. The outcome is a type family made up of three styles; Solid, Outline and Shadow. These styles can then be layered together to mimic the look of the iconic Toblerone logo.
Judge's comments:
So distinctive and well crafted. A great asset for the brand and agencies using it. All you would have to do is typeset a few words and it would be distinctly Toblerone. The Judges really liked how the kooky personality of the brand was captured.
