A brand within a brand, and sexy renders to tie them together. Waikato Scientific Instruments helps University researchers to sell their inventions, with Syp being their first product.

With limited visuals to draw from, we developed a suite of stylised digital renders. These were produced largely without depth of field effects and set against stark block colour to give them an almost sci-fi hyperrealism.

By juxtaposing these polished studio style renders with their corresponding wireframe schematics, we aimed to draw attention to the beauty in the complex precision of scientific apparatus.

We had fun with this project, the client was great to work with and we’re proud to have brought a little sex appeal to a category that doesn’t always get much love.
