Metro Magazine
Description:
As part of Metro magazine’s relaunch, City Life was reimagined as a recurring visual signature — a double-page photograph that captures the feeling of Auckland in a single frame.
Each issue, one local photographer is invited to contribute an image — no brief, no captions, just the invitation to show the city through their eyes. Sometimes it reflects the theme of the issue. Sometimes it catches a fleeting moment. Sometimes it simply lingers in a mood.
It’s a quiet gesture within a busy magazine — a space for reflection, authorship, and emotional truth. A reminder that sometimes, one picture really is worth a thousand words.
