Oracle approached us to design a series of large scale posters to be used at outdoor locations, namely the Giants stadium in San Francisco. We collaborated closely with Oracle’s in-house marketing team to re-imagine their iconic logo with detailed and eye-catching 3D renders. Each of the 6 posters represented one of Oracle’s innovative services, ranging from the fields of finance and food to their more lofty role in space exploration. In constructing hyper-real worlds that visually formed the shape of Oracle’s simple ‘O’ wordmark, we hoped to create an arresting visual that distilled the sheer scale and diversity of Oracle’s business offerings into a single image. The posters were clear of extraneous copy, save a small logo and URL, so the image itself was left to tell the story. In completing this project we’ve now established a fantastic new direct to client relationship, as well as strengthened the capabilities of our team of designers and 3D artists that were challenged in executing this conceptual and technically challenging job.
