One of the most iconic parts of great magazines is its illustrated cover. But what if you’re a magazine that can’t have one?

The Spinoff, Aotearoa’s leading digital magazine, wanted a campaign that celebrated its favourite stories of 2022 in a way that captured its iconic tone and lived beyond its digital walls.

So, in OOH, print, social and digital, and in collaboration with some of the country’s leading creatives, we launched The Spinoff Covers, reimagining some of its most captivating content into the covers it would’ve had… if it had a printed cover.
