Description:

Trackit is a budgeting app that facilitates young New Zealanders who lack budgeting skills in gaining a better understanding of their financial situations and achieving long-term financial wellbeing.

Recent statistics from the Commission for Financial Capability highlight the urgent need for an accessible budgeting app for young Kiwis. It reveals that a majority of them experience financial stress, live paycheck to paycheck, and struggle to save money. These findings shed light on the urgency of equipping young individuals with practical and efficient financial management tools.

Unlike many existing financial apps that can overwhelm beginners with complex features and professional skill-set requirements, Trackit aims to provide a user-friendly and engaging experience. The app offers four key features specifically designed to assist young New Zealanders. The first feature, "Manage Upcoming Bills," provides users with a clear overview of their upcoming bills and allows them to create flexible budgets. This feature ensures that users stay organized and proactive in managing their money.

The second feature, "Sort Daily Transactions," empowers users to effortlessly categorise their expenses using personalized labels. By allowing users to define their own categories based on their specific needs, Trackit provides a high level of customization. It not only simplifies expense tracking but also enhances user engagement by enabling them to align their budgeting approach with their individual financial habits and priorities.

The third feature, "Visualise Saving Progress," employs a visually appealing coin jar concept that allows users to track their progress towards savings goals. This visual representation provides a sense of accomplishment and motivation as users witness their savings grow over time. By visualising the journey toward achieving their financial goals, users are more likely to stay motivated and committed to their plans.

Lastly, the "View Personal Analysis" feature offers valuable insights into users' financial habits, providing a comprehensive overview of their spending patterns and financial trends. This analysis enables users to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.

By offering a user-friendly interface, customizable categories, and engaging features, Trackit ensures that the budgeting journey becomes not only efficient but also enjoyable. Through Trackit, young New Zealanders can effectively track their expenses, save money more effortlessly, and regain a sense of control over their financial lives. The app fosters a positive and confident approach to personal finance, empowering young Kiwis on their path to financial wellbeing.
