MAS is New Zealand’s largest member-owned insurer. They’ve held the number one spot of Consumer NZ’s People’s Choice Award for five years in a row, due largely to their attention to member’s needs over shareholder’s financial gain. The challenge for MAS was to find new ways to invite a wider range of customers into their world (having been focussed on medical, legal, engineering, accounting, and other white-collar professions) while also putting polish into a competitive digital presence to compete with the rest of their industry's heavy investment in digital customer acquisition.
MAS are growing faster than ever and their new website is a key contributor to this success. Their new digital infrastructure is helping to take care of new joins, as well as their rapidly expanding customer base. Easier to find information and more online transactional activity has released call centre staff for more important work.
