Science Alive, a national trust, seeks to inspire future innovators through interactive science and technology education. Recognising the importance of making these subjects accessible and engaging for all students, they embarked on a new strategy to transform their extensive resources into a digital format. The aim was to develop a platform that not only streamlined their offerings but also significantly increased accessibility, thereby fostering a lasting curiosity in science among students aged 7 to 17.

To achieve this, we helped Science Alive develop the Science Alive Educators Portal, a bespoke online learning platform and resource hub tailored for science and technology education. This innovative and free tool is designed with both educators and students in mind. Key features of the portal include:

- User-Friendly Interface: Bright, interactive design tailored to engage young learners.
- Comprehensive Resources: Over 300 lessons, interactive images, videos, quizzes, diagrams, and voice-overs.
- Flexibility for Educators: Tools to diversify lessons, manage student progress, and tailor content to specific needs.
- Interactive Learning: Dynamic activities and tests to make science fun and stimulating.
- Accessibility: Entirely free and accessible via a simple internet connection, ensuring inclusivity across socio-economic groups.

The portal was crafted with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators, particularly in creating engaging and resource-rich learning experiences with limited resources. By providing community-focused STEAM resources that combine multiple subject areas, the platform supports both online and hands-on learning.
