Sweetshop, a renowned production company, needed a digital renaissance to reflect their ethos of artistic freedom, fine craft, and joy in creativity. Our challenge was to create a platform that showcased their diverse work while reintroducing a feminine, supportive voice to their brand, acknowledging their new female leadership and commitment to inclusivity.
Inspired by 90s Vogue, we developed a bold yet elegant typographic system and a soft, feminine colour palette. A dynamic grid system, reminiscent of editorial layouts, allows content to evolve and shift, creating a unique experience for each visitor. This approach enables each director's unique style to shine within a cohesive whole.
We built an incredibly versatile design system on Storyblok CMS, allowing Sweetshop's team to curate and create content effortlessly. This customizable approach ensures the site remains fresh, mirroring the ever-evolving creative industry.
The result is more than a portfolio; it's Sweetshop's digital shopfront, offering a holistic view of each director and the company's collaborative culture. This immersive brand experience has significantly increased website traffic and serves as a powerful tool in conveying Sweetshop's filmmaking caliber and empowering process.
