Ovum is an intelligent health partner for women that delivers personalised insights based on consistently logged symptoms, diet, nutrition, and lifestyle across their lifespan. Ovum is able to create a comprehensive health profile so women can understand, manage, and take control of their health, ultimately closing the gender health gap.

It was designed in close consultation with patients and medical professionals, including our founder, Dr. Ariella Heffernan-Marks.

The app is shaped entirely by how women actually live with, and talk about, their health. Its custom overview adapts in real time to symptoms, goals, and life stages, while allowing users to look back through their history. The interface uses conversational AI for check-ins, surfacing insights based on past logs. A key breakthrough was structuring data around six core health factors, enabling documents, health history, and chat to work together seamlessly to deliver personalised insights and spot patterns unique to each user.
