Description:

As 2021 was drawing to an end, the division and vitriol fired between New Zealanders was at an all time high. COVID-19 had divided Aotearoa and language of hate that once was only read about on the foreign news started to fill people’s social media feeds. This was the context in which the Human Rights Commission approached us to help them ask New Zealanders to Dial it Down when it came to hate and derision online.
