Description:

Goodnature’s pest traps are precision-engineered tools used in conservation, commercial, and residential settings. But their internal mechanisms and the differences between each trap can be hard to grasp through static images or conventional film. As the product range expanded, so did the need for a clearer and more consistent way to educate users and build trust.

We developed a 3D animation system that made every trap in the Goodnature range easy to understand, visually cohesive, and tailored to its use. For each product, we created three animations: a hero film to highlight key features, and two tutorials to guide setup and operation. Together, these pieces formed a complete, brand-aligned education toolkit.

The animations combined clarity with craft. Using high-fidelity 3D, we illustrated trap setup and self-resetting functionality with precision, breaking down complex sequences into simple, intuitive visuals. Transparent overlays and cutaway views revealed internal workings without clutter, while subtle environmental cues (like wind, terrain, or pest motion) added realism without distraction. Each animation felt grounded, approachable, and purposeful.

This system didn’t just explain the products; it enhanced the user experience. Replacing static instructions with animated clarity helped reduce friction, improve comprehension, and reinforce brand confidence. The animations now live across Goodnature’s website, help centre, and marketing channels, making them a core part of how users engage with the brand.

With over 7 million views and ongoing integration into customer support and content, this work has become a lasting brand asset. It’s a clear example of how motion design can turn technical complexity into user-friendly storytelling, supporting both product understanding and brand trust at scale.
