Atelier Subalpino exemplifies order - both in programme and detailing. The aesthetic, while relatively spare, remains rich and interesting through successive layers of varying transparencies modifying the spatial perception. The challenge of accommodating five distinct components from service, production and display through to a design office along with the requirements of FengShui mean there is a lot more than meets the eye to this multipurpose workplace.
