Judge's comments:

He pae ka tuku whakaaro ki a Tane Rore e haka ana, ki te wehe i ona matua. The judges loved the simplicity and modularity of this pae, or bench, design. It has some subtle cultural references to manaia and a haka stance placing it firmly on Papatūanuku. It shows smart use of Solidworks and CNC routing to create a great self-build piece.
